We buy Lenilen's Specialties baked goodsfor our annual Church Bake Sale, which is always a huge success.  The fan favorites are the peach cobbler, red velvet, black & white and my personal favorite, her "melt in your mouth" rum cake...these disappear as soon as we put them on the table!!!

Lenise made my wedding cake. On the day of the wedding everything was so busy my husband and I only had the traditional bite of cake (which was delicious) before continuing on with the festivities. The next day after wrapping the top layer of cake for the one year anniversary and placing in the freezer, my husband and I paid a toll and went to my sister's house to get a couple of the extra pieces she had taken home. The cake was worth the toll and the time to go and get some of my wedding cake. Fast forward to a year later, to our one year anniversary. The cake was just as delicious as our first bite. Wonderful. Still remember that cake almost five years later.

I had the pleasure of, finally after hearing so much about these cakes by Lenise, of trying a slice of her strawberry lemon cake. Let me tell you that it was so good that I ate two slices before I knew it. I kid you not, that is the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life, no lie!!! It was wonderfull. The cake was moist and melted in my mouth. Absolutely wonderful!

I have used Lenise twice so far and I have to say that I have been very pleased with the outcome. My husband's birthday cake was a three-layer cake and my guests could not stop commenting on how tasty and lovely the cake was. The second cake that Lenise made was for my daughter's birthday. This cake was one layer and again the compliments were just great. Thank you, Lenise, for making these two special events more special with your cakes.

Lenise has made two very special cakes for me and my husband: our wedding cake and our housewarming party cake. Both were, hands down, two of the best cakes I've ever had in my life!
